Craft and Technology are not mutually exclusive.

My friends call me "Pam."

I am a computational designer and writer living in Brooklyn, NY. My work examines tensions between craftsmanship, technology and commerce, revealing the hidden sociopolitical infrastructures undergirding human industry. My research centers around recoupling the consumer with the producer through design literacy and mass customization, fostering intimacy and efficacy through a dialectical creation process. I am a recent graduate of NYU's ITP program, and I am currently developing a desktop jacquard loom as a Project Resident at Eyebeam.
